Yesterday my dad passed wrapped up in his favorite LSU blanket. He was a Vietnam vet and great provider for our family. Man did he love his grandbabys. This is the hardest thing I’ve gone through so far in life.

We were lucky enough to spend a lot of time with him over the past few weeks. Hug your dads just a little tighter folks. Spend just a little more time with them. Remember them fondly and make sure you tell them that you love them as often as possible.

RIP dad. I love you.

So sorry to hear this brother. Prayers and family the only thing that helps right now.

Really sucks man. Still think about mine daily. You get through the tough ones but you never get over them.

Sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 5 years ago.. I can't say it gets easier but the pain is less frequent if that makes sense. He will always be with you. Rip Sir..

Sorry for your loss. I don't even want to think about how I am going to react when that inevitable day comes.

Probably a few who want to ask if it was COVID, what the underlying condition(s) were and how old but won't.

Sorry, OP. My pop is 85. It's coming.

What a sad day. I miss my Dad a lot. He was the best dad ever and there is a giant hole where he used to be.
