It is unfathomable to me that it doesn't hurt your heart to see the amount of destruction and livelihood being destroyed in many of these cities. The BASIC role of government is to protect property. Locke, Hobbes, and the other great social thinkers in history are all in agreement that men set up governments to protect property rights.

I don't think you have ONCE voiced any outrage about the riots and the economic and societal damage they are inflicting on our inner cities. The sad thing is that a great many of the victims are small business owners, many immigrants, who worked their asses off to build their shops and capital. Many will never recover.

And I am not just directing this post at you. There are a disturbing number of TD posters who have zero respect for property rights or enterprise.

Are we talking about the "arrests", or the riots that endanger normal citizens? Which is acceptable to you? And which is "unfathomable"?
The arrests, the beatings, the pepper spraying, the teargassing of non-violent protesters. They are clearly antagonizing, practically begging people to lash out. People are marching the streets in protest of their corrupt and overbearing police, and this is the response? They are not identifying themselves and tossing people into unmarked vehicles, who's to say they aren't some Proud Boys in camo rounding people up? What happens if someone tries to defend themselves? I don't give a frick who spray painted what, this shite is not ok.

Does that answer your questions?

Drastic times call for drastic measures.

With all that said, I don’t like the involvement of federal law enforcement when not requested by the states. I oppose all unnecessary government spending and expanding authority, no matter the party. (Which I believe is probably at least half of it.)

Policing is not in the executive powers of the constitution. It is left out and the 10th amendment turns those lowers over to the state.

Do you want to do away with local, county, and state policing? That would be defunding the police.

Definitely. It clearly says you want to excuse riots and destruction of private property by an anarchist movement. All that shite's ok. Citizens should not have to endure their incompetent local govt at the expense of their livelihoods.

Fed involvement was non-existent until shite started burning and private property was being destroyed. But you ignore that FACT.

It’s amazing the fiction one builds to proudly display their faux outrage.

I’m almost certain that based on your posting history - this is all a lie.

Then the rioters should not attack federal buildings.

This is the answer.

The Federal Government has jurisdiction over Federal property. The local governments trying to argue against it are out of scope.
