To blow it up in college but are NOT high 4 stars or 5 star prospects

Give guys on both offense and defense.

Offense:
Kraig Appleton. He is ranked #48 right now, but I think he will drop some in the rankings soon. He will be around #70 before it is over so I think thats acceptable.

Stavion Lowe. I am really high on this guy. I think he is an ALL-SEC tackle before it is over. He may be the best 'pulling' OL LSU has had in a long time.

Michael Ford. I can say him for now because ahe is ranked at #212. He is going to push the top 50 by the end of his senior season. I cannot wait to see him play this next year!!

Defense:
Chris Williams. The guy has passion for the game and is a ball hawk. Other than him being a little on the small size he is a 5 star caliber player. If LSU doesn't take him, we will be shooting ourselves. Think Ali Highsmith...but better (after 4-5 years at LSU I can't imagine what a force he would be).

Tom Wort. He may have hit his peak athletically, but if you haven't watched his film, do yourself a favor and go see it. He will be a great college LB...not a doubt in my mind. Hes ranked #240 on rivals.

Ok I need to reword this thread to make it interesting. Everyone is going to mention 5 stars or really high 4 stars.

Haha I guess we need to edit our posts then. But seriously those guys we listed were either freakishly athletic or just downright nasty at their positions.

Also how can Ford blow it up in a RB by committee system?

Does Leesville run a RB by committee system?

I think h will blow up his senior season. Even if he doesn't get the same carries as others in college b/c of LSU's RB by committee system, I think we will all be able to see that he is something very special.

I was pretty high on Ford before, but after the LSU camp...I cannot wait! He looks like he is physically ready for the NFL right now.

I think Lamar Miller ends up being the best back out of this year's class.

Josh Williford - 6-7/345

reminds me of:

Herman Johnson - 6-6.5/360/5.50

If Williford is trainable/coachable at all he could come out of nowhere to be something special with that kind of size. He may be a project, but the tallest skyscrapers and biggest buildings were built with sound design and a good foundation. Williford definitely has that.

Les Miles stole him from Saban and Tubby...

I think Bryce Brown is going to be an amazing football player in the future. That guy is good.

Offense
Rontavious Wooton

Mike Ford

Cotton- only because he's perfect for Franklin's system.

defense

Mike Brockers

Darrington Senttimore- just watch. If we don't sign him, we'll no doubt regret it.

Jacob Hester - 1,100+ yards, 69th overall pick in 2008 NFL Draft. Mike Ford is faster, do the math.

Had a former coach been here, Hester would never had been drafted, or possibly late in the 7th round with about 150-200 yards total.

Hester got like 70% of the carries.

Good logic cause KWilliams, CScott & RMurphy are in fact all slower than Jacob Hester.

What? are you talking about Saban?

Cause he sure stuck with upperclassman like Marcus Randal and even Justin Vincent. Hester would have still got the carries.

I guarantee LSU will pick a main back a la Hester and go from there. Ford will get a chance to be that main back.

LSU rushed the Football 612 times last year. Hester had 225 of them. So less then 40%.

Saban had "Senioritis"? I thought that was supposed to be the knock on Miles? Saban made many bad decisions including Marcus Randall over Russell. Nah, Saban would have kept Broussard on..and well..

At this point he's closer to Brad Smalling.

No he didn't. No offer from either school.

Stavion Lowe, Dexter Pratt, and Janzen Jackson. These 3 are also my favorite recruits in the class so far.
