C'mon man, you're well informed enough to know this won't do a fricking thing.

It 100% does work.

Do you actually think the left is just winning the hearts and minds of the people?

If so.... There is no Silent Majority. It's all fake. And if that IS the case.... then it's even worse than we all think.

Either way, the only way to reverse it is to be heard and active.

Maybe I've just become too jaded, either way I'm not calling state politicians, I've done it before, fruitless.

I think there loads of ways to push back. The problem for the right is we have very little infrastructure outside of the Republican party, and unfortunately about 80% of its leaders are part of the problem.

Think for a moment about all the institutions and organizations that the left has championing its cause. Everything from industries like education, permanent government, media, entertainment, dozens of well-funded recognizable organizations, and it goes on and on. They’ve even gotten their hooks in Wall Street and major Corp boards. And high tech is a powerful opponent, too.

Now make the list for the Right. The NRA (which is weaker today than a few years ago). Then what? We can’t even consider the military conservative anymore.

This situation needs to be addressed. And quickly.

Very insightful answer, and your statement, which I've quoted above, is something that keeps me up at night.

Thank you.

Alot of us can't economically afford to come out shite side clean, they are incredibly wealthy, and both lawyers, I think most on the right are more cognisant of what we have to lose, and what we will be faced with, if the law isn't on our side, Im not sure why you've become so offensive.

I agree. I’ll be critical of the Right for being soft, but I get it.

Also, individualism/self-reliance is in our DNA. While that is great in a lot of respects, it’s very bad when it comes to politics.

We need to figure out how to engage the Left. They don’t have numbers and we do, I believe that - but they’ll overwhelm us nonetheless if we don’t get some things figured out.

Individual freedoms made this country what it is, and there is an obvious push for us to become more collectivistic.

I’m not arguing for us to be less individualistic. I’m suggesting it’s not easy to bring millions that agree with us about individualism together as a cohesive political movement. But we’ve got to figure it out.

What the STL DA is doing by prosecuting them for exercising their right to defend themselves and their property is not about hurting them, hell I'm almost positive the DA knows the case will be thrown out or they will be acquitted. What the DA is doing is making sure anyone else that would think about standing up for themselves knows their lives will be ruined financially even if they are not convicted. That couple are "seemingly" well off financially and seem to have the means to provide the best defense for themselves. You think the average Joe could weather that financial storm? Or just get swept up in the broken criminal justice system that is geared toward convictions and plea deals rather than truth and actual justice?

This may be what you saw, but I really don't think you understand what freedom really means.

I see this election as an extinction event, if Trump doesn't win.

Personally the only solution I see is violence. I hope I'm wrong and someone more intelligent than I comes up with another, more peaceful solution but I can't see it. The left wing had made it clear that there is no middle ground or compromise, it's total surrender to their ideology or die. I think eventually we are going to have to take up arms against them to save the country, the question is will we be willing?

It only takes 10% of the populace to overthrow a government.

And that is what the left is banking on.

Being violent against others who happened to vote in greater numbers against your opinions sounds like a bold strategy

Let me know how that plays out

Force is certainly the solution. And if the police won’t or can’t (because of corrupt city governments), then it’s up to the citizens.
