I did it again this week. Did a lot of ranting a raving on here. Again I have to ask for forgiveness.

Our fight is not against flesh and blood but powers in the air. I know God is in control I am not. I fear for my country but again this is not a racial war as the forces of darkness are pushing. It is good versus evil

Until I can mature more as a believer I will stop posting.

Ask the big man why he created liberals.

Read Romans 13 this morning. Made me think about a lot of my response to CV19, BLM, liberals, our government. I really struggle with how to "have a conversation" with people who want to tell you what to say.

I have to remind myself of this all the time. That’s why scripture says we have to crucify our flesh daily. It’s an ongoing process that never ends while we are here on earth.

It is hard my friends. Thanks for feedback and prayers for my fellow believers on this board. I know we win in the end, just hate to see my country falling apart

Read Romans 13 again. It says God appoints leaders over us to do good. When these same leaders don’t do good, we aren’t expected to follow laws that conflict with God’s laws.
Nebuchadnezzar wanted Daniel to bow before a statue of him, but Daniel refused, even though Nebuchadnezzar was king and over him.

If you want to mature as a believer you must learn that God's grace and forgiveness is enough to cover you sins and short comings. If you are counting on your 'maturity" you will fail for sure.

The life of a Christian should be one of love and sacrifice. That is a difficult thing to do for sinners like you and me.

Hebrews 12 has been an encouragement for me this morning. Give it a read and maybe it will encourage you, as well.

Our Sunday School lesson is on Romans 13. Made me think about a lot of things going on right now and how I and others have handled it and responded.

I think that passage is over-spiritualized. It’s not that it doesn’t refer to spiritual things. But the system of the world and spiritual wickedness in high places isn’t always spiritual to the exclusion of the human. The readers of the epistles who were being persecuted by the Roman government (and regional governments) would have certainly understood that.

Just read Hebrews 12. So good. If God is working on you Jim in you feeling the need to stop posting then that’s a beautiful thing. Don’t go to church and feel bad, repent if you feel the need from it and rejoice that your father loves you so much that he is disciplining you!!

And we should all pray for liberals as well as conservatives, God wants to see us all saved and come to his son, so we need to love everyone genuinely and pray genuinely for all.

It really does make a difference, you just got to have faith. Any amount of faith will do.

Ask forgiveness - then extend that forgiveness and grace we are given.

But don't ever forget the words of retiring Archbishop Charles Chiput -
"Evil preaches tolerance until it dominates; then tries to silence Good"

Don't show this to liberals. It will just give them justification

We live in a Democratic Republic model of Governance, JN; Jesus did not have that responsibility/option. "Render unto 'Caesar' that which is Caesar's, and unto God that which is Gods". Sounds like command to participate in Democratic Governance to me. Just saying.

However, if it's getting to you, then bow out of the ugly 'debate' process, that is the foundation of political process. "To him who thinketh any thing to be sin, to him it is sin". 'Sin' - IMO - being any thing that in effect, has a negative effect on promoting personal and societal Love. Of course, Jesus say's he coming back a second time, and will arrive..."not with peace, but a sword"...so...go figure.

God speed.
