Dude walked the walk for sure. Can disagree with his politics later in life but also respect his courage earlier in his life

In all likelihood he was close to death a few days ago. Seems like that’s happened a lot lately with high profile folks in the end stages of terminal illness

Kinda this but he didn't really do enough for blacks. He became a charlatan and the embodiment of a DC swamp creature.

Maybe so, but hard to measure as one of 435. But he did get his fricking arse kicked repeatedly standing up for injustice that affected him. Lotta keyboard warriors could learn a thing or two from ole John Lewis
