Are we really expected to feign like we give a shite every time an anti-American corrupt racketeering shitbag politician dies?

Serious question.

As others have already said, he walked the walk and is among the last of a special generation that fought real actual institutional racism and put his life on the line to do it in a time when modern antifas would be too pussy to participate.

Ok, seriously. Didn’t some member of Congress, from bmore maybe, die a few months back unexpectedly?

Isn't John Lewis who Rep Angela Stanton is running against?

For those that don't remember, she destroyed the Breakfast club.

Rep. John Lewis “He is resting comfortably at home.”
6 days later he is dead.

RBG is "home and doing well"
How long does she have?

I wonder if the guy Lewis beat in the primary will take his place in the election against Angela Stanton.

YES!

From WIKI: "In 2020 Stanton-King launched a campaign to challenge incumbent Representative John Lewis for Georgia's 5th congressional district in the 2020 United States House of Representatives elections.[15] She won Republican primary in an uncontested race.[16] She is expected to be roundly defeated.[17]" That last part.

Good.

I hold him in no greater regard than any random citizen. There’s nothing he has ever done that benefits my life. In fact, he was activity making worse.

So frick him. Bye bitch.

True. But that's like being the tallest midget in the circus.

PS - I really was impressed by that woman. She mowed 'em down.

Bad juju. But other than that, dude was on the front lines during the civil rights movement. Like it or not, he is regarded as a truly great man by many people.

Thoughts to his family and all those who will mourn his passing. He was a little more than a random citizen, imo. And I say that without knowing much about his voting record or any of that.
