If there’s a better ending to a film, I don’t want to know about it.

Henry V - Non nobis Domine

After the unparalleled Saint Crispin’s Day Speech the English forces crushed the French at Agincourt. But instead of pillaging and gloating, their humble king said we shall sing from Psalm 115 “not to us, but to God be glory.” (Non nobis Domine)

Stunningly moving.

End of The Last Jedi.

It’s better because it was over.

I’ve never seen the movie, but dang that scene must’ve been challenging to shoot. Kudos to the director & crew, I can’t imagine the work that goes into a scene like that.

I know There Will Be Blood is pretty polarizing around here but Daniel beating Eli to death with a bowling pin, sitting down and saying "I'm finished!", then going straight into the hectic violin piece over the end credits left my mouth open

I don't know if it's one of the greatest endings of all time, but for The Natural the movie ending was much better than the book.

The Dark Knight Rises

Alfred looking over to see Bruce after thinking him dead, and he’s now smashing a super flexible Anne Hathaway? Doesn’t get any better

Have you ever seen “Z” by Costa-Garvas? Watch the ending. Hope it’s not where we’re headed.
