If the people of Alabama elect Sessions tomorrow they have forever given up the right to bitch about Washington swampers. I don't understand how people can raise hell about Washington swamp politicians and turn around and vote for one. We all saw what Sessions did, just how weak he was in enabling that coup. When it came time for Sessions to stand tall he went right along with the same people that we are all crying for to be put in jail. He is a coward.
If you are a Trump supporter, and everyone knows what that snake Sessions did, and you vote for Jeff Sessions you should hang your head in shame.

I'll probably regret it, but I'm going with Sessions.

Sessions and John Bolton have the same lawyer (Chuck Cooper). Apparently Cooper ran his mouth that Sessions was in favor of using the 25th Amendment against Trump. There was also a book published a couple years ago that floated the same story about Rod Rosenstein being able to turn Sessions and John Kelly.

Tuberville is an opportunist and nothing more. That's why he doesn't provide any real ideas beyond very basic conservative talking points and it's why he won't do interview with any local news stations except for super favorable talk radio shows. He definitely seems like the type who will be influenced by Alabama lobbyists and people like Jimmy "Yella Fella" Rane. Sessions isn't perfect, but I know what I will get with him as our Senator.

Tubberville, not even sure how he is qualified to govern. He has run a few football programs.
Sessions, he had his turn and it didn’t end well. What he did as AG is unforgivable.
I would cringe and pull the lever for Tubberville.

You're kidding yourself if you don't think Tubs will be just as swampy. He has no idea how to govern and he isn't going to Washington with any big ideas that he wants to fight for. He will be very susceptible to lobbyists and rich people from Alabama who want favors.

I know this to be true also. I will never be able to understand his attitude in coaching. During an interview one time he referred to the first 2-3 games of the season as the preseason and said that fans got too hung up on wins and losses and that he was developing a team and sometimes that meant calling plays and playing players to prepare them for events down the road.
Then he expounded on the SEC schedule which in his mind was all about holding serve. According to him you have 8 SEC games, you try and win the 4 home games and split on the 4 road games to give you a respectable 6-2 record. If you get the favorable schedule of maybe a down team or games at UK or Vandy then you might could think about winning a championship.

How the hell do you know? He has never been up there yet to prove it. People said the same on this board about Trump.
I know exactly what your little weasel is. He proved it.

Easy answer. Tub won't stab Trump (and the rest of America) in the back.

Being President of the United States is a lot different from being a junior U.S. Senator. Plus, Trump had his own ideas, Tuberville doesn't. He will be looking to others to tell him what to do, and there will be people trying to get in his ear.

Just keep voting for those swampers. People like you are their lifeline. They depend on you and your vote to keep sending them back up there for years. And then your kind gets on here and bitches about the swamp.I
Sessions is a coup enabler. You are a swamp enabler.
Lord.

I'm in Mobile. I'm voting for Tubs.
I see Sessions as a Deep State guy. Too connected to his lobbyist and Washington Cronies. He was on the radio today and was talking about all the connections he has and how Shelby wants him back and the stuff that he can get passed.
The main issue for me is that Sessions cannot walk away. The guy is pushing 70 years old. He has served for 20 years. What did he come back for? Greed and Pride, so for me this isnt about serving the people of Alabama.
Now I'm not saying that Tubs has pure motives. It may just be an ego stroke for him.
But Tubs and the option and I hope he beats Jones like a drum.

So the idiots in Alabama will go with Sessions. I guess the devil you know is safer than the devil you don't. Idiots!

Sessions has been in DC politics for 23 years now.
Go home Jeff.
Do the right thing Alabama.

Sessions embarrassed Alabama. He needs to go home to Mobile and retire.
I’ll be voting for Tommy “Wingnut” Tuberville.
