What's crazy is that we smashed everyone with a who's who roster. Our talent will be top notch the rest of the way.

I’m concerned...we may be stuck with a bunch of Tyrann Mathieus and Justin Jeffersons !!!!!
Coach O is stacking recruits like never before. I just want to see a few more big Olinemen and we are set !

Four stars are still elite talents.
2-3 stars have become superstars and first round picks here. I don’t put much stock into star ratings. They look good on signing day but after they’re signed, nobody cares about stars anymore.

Lache Seastrunk was some all-world 5 star talent according to rivals. Signed with oregon and was never heard about again.

Having 14 out of 16 Four stars is crazy honestly. It looks as if everyone LSU brings in from this point will either be a four or Five star talent. Our "blue chip rating" is going to go up quite a bit after this class.

Lol you can tell who just reads headlines and who actually reads the 4 sentences in the post. It was a joke

I literally post it’s the deepest class I’ve ever seen. Y’all need to read just a hair more

I haven't slept for 5 days now, which symbolically represents each of the precious 5 stars you speak of.

He’s Right — LSU Rising Fast

Would love to know how LSU is ranked lower than USC while also having a higher average per recruit, more five stars, more four stars, and more three stars. I guess their few five stars had a much higher rating than the LSU five stars but that doesn't make sense given the average per recruit.

Isnt this what we do every year? Considering the season we just had I was hoping for a class like Ohio St is currently pulling in.

Not really. we usually get 6 or more 3* players a year.
2020 6 3* --Martinez, Adams, Taylor, Hill, Gaye & Finley
2019 10 3* & 1 2* -- Flott, York, Ward, & Skinner
2018 9 3* --Damien Lewis & Cameron Wire
2017 9 3* --JJets, CEH, Racey, Jontre & Neil
2016 8 3* --Lloyd Cushingberry
2015 8 3* & 2 2* --Moreau, Magee & Blake Ferguson
Notice the contribution from these players. I see 2 first round picks from 2017 alone.

Although I think we have talent at every position we’ve recruited this year, I do think we are missing out on the ELITE talent that OsU and Bama are getting right now. They will both have 5 or more 5 stars by signing day

Six Stars = 101 to 110 — Once in a generation talent

Five Stars = 98 to 100 — Top 32 Players are selected every year (Mirrors NFL Draft)

Four Stars = 90 to 97 — Top 300 (pro potential)

The fact is that California esp LA area is in a Recruiting Rich Ground.

However — Big Warning Here

California gets an inordinate amount of four stars (I will tell you undeserved) and range of the Top 300 causes the large variations in the composite points as you identified

My Observations:
1. The “LEGENDS” and AROMAS of the oft overrated California Recruit often wash out
in the Coarse Coffee Grinds of the SEC

Myles is 10th Ranked QB — Check Out those above him

2. Myles was a once-in-a-generation talent (his issues knocking him down was size at 6’2” 180 but he grew to 6’4-1/2 215 — prototypical NFL QB) — In no case, should Myles have not been in that Top 3 with Tuna. I say this with all sincerity and true belief in having watched him play and win two championships as a young soph and as a junior. His Senior year was marked by a lack of quality WRs but he still took his team to the quarterfinals losing to Mendenhall 28-20. He only threw 3 picks his senior year — averaging 63 TDs and 8 picks over his three years.

It would not surprise me to see Myles throw 4 or 5 TDs a game and surpass Joe’s marks. I’m kind of expecting it.

Before God, I tell you he’s the best HS QB I’ve ever seen play and I believe he has the weapons of SEC Mass @$$ Destruction at his disposal in 2020 and 2021. He will stand in that Final Four in New York City this Dec.

I think there are certain positions where elite talent matters. Qb, DL, and LT come to mind. QB is obvious. 1-2 elite lineman can make the entire defense elite (Auburn with Derrick brown or us with Arden Key)
