Bama got there 5 str qb last year and a 5 star DL. Will add 2 more 5 str OL this class and another 5 str DL. Not bad for them

Time will tell whether those 5 stars are elite. I think Bryce young has a good chance of being on that level but there are only 1-2 derrick brown/chase young type players each class. I wouldn't put all 5 stars in that same category.
I agree with your premise, though. We do need some elite players at those positions. Hopefully Leigh and Maason do that for us.

Unfortunately because of COVID/no-camp-circuit, I feel LSU might miss out on their usual diamond-in-the-rough 3-star multiple signings/future-1st-rounders, by having to rely on edited highlights & scouting service rankings.
Temporarily, it's nice for fans bragging about class rankings, but ultimately may prove bad for the roster in the long-run.

Damn good class. Not a lot of camps to evaluate kids. I trust the coaches
