“The Governor is disappointed that the federal government declined his request for financial support,” Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz's office said in a statement. “As we navigate one of the most difficult periods in our state’s history, we look for support from our federal government to help us through.”

Governor allowed the destruction to happen. No way that money doesn't find it's way inside the Minnesota democratic party fund.

Was hoping this would happen.

Good. Maybe the mayors and governors will keep this in mind the next time they sit on their hands during prolonged riots. If the Feds can’t come to stop it during it (they shouldn’t for the most part-no qualms there), then they shouldn’t be responsible for the cleanup.

Wow, another one of those common sense moves that never happened before Trump....

When the looting starts, the shooting starts folks. Simple as that.

'Sit on their hands' is an understatement. Every Democratic leader from mayor to governor in these states WANTED these protests/riots to occur. The price for some statues, repairs (and unfortunately lives) are trivial in order to win back the White House.
Every leader that allowed it to happen should be voted out of office. They didn't serve their constituents in a time of crisis and need; they sold out to their party leadership.
It was a desperate act. We should expect more to come.

Good. Let those Progs fix their own mess.

What gets to me is he has the nerve to ask for help. Dude, you have no shame, resign.

He thinks it's a gotcha on Trump.
I'm sure some progressive filth feel the same but I don't think it will play the way he thinks.
