re: Saints sending opt-out forms to season ticket holders

That’s what I told him. I saw the email correspondence with my own eyes though. The ticket rep said he was welcome to put his money to next season and when he said he wanted a refund and would just buy his tickets next year the rep told him there is a long waiting list that would gladly purchase his tickets. I told him to request to speak to someone else. Then the following week the article came out saying you can request the form.

I still have not gotten mine. I am calling them on Monday. I want to make sure they know I want IN.

Anyone have updates? Ready to pull the trigger and tell them to put my $ to next season, but if they’re making an announcement this week I’ll wait.

they told me yesterday that an email will be coming out in a couple weeks explaining everything. that includes being able to roll over tickets or receiving a refund.
I was told we still have plenty of time to wait and decide.

I was told the same by the ticket office.

OK so where is this email we were supposed to get this week Explaining the options?
Posted on 7/24/20 at 11:59 am to SlickRick55
I was told on Tuesday the email would be out in 2-3 weeks.

Wow, that’s cutting it close. Thanks, though.

thats not entirely true. Saints were going to refund the money to those originally who were to opt-out and not allow them to keep their rights. They got some backlash from fans who were pissed off. Then the Chiefs came out and announced they would let fans get a refund and retain rights. Which would most likely happen league wide, and were pressured into changing their stance.
Even the opt out forms are a little confusing with the wording in my opinion.
I dont mind rolling over my money, but I think it is bullshite any fan would have to choose between supporting their family during a crisis and not getting money back to retain tickets for a service they cannot use. Just my opinion.

chiefs didn't start that option nor did the saints have pressure to change their stance. Back in May nfl sent out memo to all teams.
The memo, a copy of which was obtained by Newsday, states that “if a game is canceled, or is played under conditions that prohibit fans from attending, anyone purchasing a ticket directly from the club (i.e., season tickets, group sales and/or partial season plans) will have the option of either receiving a full refund or applying the amount paid toward a future ticket purchase directly from the club.”

I've heard some reports that with the preseason supposedly now cancelled, teams have until August 1st to submit their fan attendance plans to the NFL.

what you stated says nothing about keeping your ticket rights.

Or you could just read the 4th bullet point in the opening post
