Have you ever worked in a hospital? Every year ER’s and hospitals brace for flu, pneumonia, COPD exacerabations during the winter months. COVID-19 is not comparable to the annual “busy season.” This is not Winter. Normally hospitals are less busy in the summer months. This is not going away.

Your carefully prepared list is meaningless..

This is false. The heat and more people being outdoors provides its own issues requiring hospitalization. Adding 1000 people to that total isn’t easy. No one is saying that. But it’s not like hospitals being full is anything new. Never has been.
