Good, more proof masks are ineffective. Thanks, doc.
Exactly. Like responses to Trump all the time. They continue to kill their arguments with their own words.

I had seen some doctor video proclaiming this a few weeks back. Saying the particles were smaller than the 'normal' flu and thereby providing the transport by air much easier and for a greater distance. He included the twenty foot marker.
No link. Sorry.
Even at less than six feet, wouldn't it take an infected person sneezing or coughing several times in your direction for you to inhale enough particles to become infected? 20 feet seems like they would have to be putting ALOT of infected particles in the air and in your direction for that to be a thing.

if that IS true, then it WAS true back in MARCH and MILLIONS would have died BACK THEN.
Nope. It MUTATED!!

I don't think you understand how this works. It is not an issue until the media tells us it is. Similar to how masks won't do much to stop the spread (paraphrase) back in Feb/Mar; to now you are a monster that wants everyone to die if you don't wear a mask today.

No, they’re panicked because the economy shot up too fast. Now the moving target is “cases” - despite the fact that the majority of those cases are the sniffles.

Of fricking course it CAN travel more than 6 feet. But unless you are sneezing and coughing the concentration decreases so much your chances of catching it dramatically decrease.

Nauseating and predictable

I've got three different friends who have tested positive. Two have no symptoms (one is in 30's and one is in 40's). Only one has mild symptoms (he is in his early 60's). All three are married and have been quarantined with their wife. Two of the 3 were swapping bodily fluids the whole time (Sunday was their 14th day of quarantine). Guess what? None of the wives have tested positive.
Short answer to all of this, is the "Experts" have absolutely no clue how this is being spread and as has been repeated over and over, it only effects the elderly and people in bad health to begin with.

Osterholm said all this months ago when he was on Rogan. He also was the first I heard to say it’s rare to transmit by touching of objects.

Basically they're now saying that the virus can travel out of your mouth/nose much further than 6ft and hang in the air for hours.
The weight of the virus is MUCH more than air. Even air saturated with water (100% humility). Without convention currents the virus is sinking like a rock.
Let's put this in perspective. The lightest molecule in air is water vapor at 18 (molecular weight). This is why we have clouds. Water vapor floats in our atmosphere to form clouds in the sky.
The heaviest molecule in the air is CO2. It's molecular weight is 44. CO2 sinks. It stays close to the ground. That's why we have lush forest and rain forest at sea level and we don't have vegetation at the tops of mountains were CO2 hardly never reaches but only through convection.
So the lightest constituent in the air is water vapor at 18 and the heaviest is C02. The molecular weight of COVID is 55,000.
You expect me to believe COVID will float in air with that kind of weight/density difference. COVID is sinking like a fricking rock with two caveats:
1. Convection currents.
2. Temperature differences.
These two caveats will potentially hold COVID in the air longer, but it is sinking and sinking fast.
With that said, COVID is spread by contact surfaces. You touch your face. COVID gets on your fingers. You touch the avocados in the grocery store feeling for the ripe avocados. You transfer the COVID from your finger to the avocado. The next grocery customer feels for rip avocados and touches the COVID. The COVID gets on that customers fingers. The customer walks away but while walking away that customer unknowingly wipes their eyes. Now the COVID has found a new host to multiply.

This assumes Covid’s durability outside of a host.
I’m reminded of all the hoaxes about AIDS-infected hypodermics everywhere.
While some diseases are hardy enough to survive outside a body for long periods of time, AIDS is not one of them. All needle stick transmissions involved fresh blood coming out of a patient shortly before the stick.
While COVID should be hardier than AIDS, how proven is spread by surface contamination as opposed to airborne transmission?

Heard it on CBS national radio this morning on my way into work so no link. Basically they're now saying that the virus can travel out of your mouth/nose much further than 6ft and hang in the air for hours. They've also gotten over 20
There's been some so called experts claiming this for awhile, remember when they finally cleaned the cruise ship awhile back they claimed there was still live surface virus after 2-3 weeks.
Here's the one they're pushing this morning also. The experts say we're all wearing masks for years to come so probably not a bad idea to invest in some 3M stock or maybe consider starting your own mask company.

Yes! After every one touches their face to put the damn mask on or off at the grocery store.
We are living in crazy world.

Humble air does require traditional currents to float

It does.
That is why IMO viruses in general spread easier in cool/cold weather. They survive on surfaces longer in cool or cold weather. Not so much in the hot baking sun. That is, during the summer months outside for all practical purposes is eliminated as a high potential location to catch a virus. But on inside surfaces viruses are surviving much longer.

To me infection by airborne transmission is breathing in a water droplet with COVID.
Surface transmission is picking up the virus with your hands and touching your face after picking up the virus.
What's is the difference in infection between the two? IDK. However logically infection via surface transmission is much more effective than the former.
But there are other ways of transmission:
Kissing.
Touching.
Sharing food.
Sharing a bong.
But all those fall under contact surfaces.
