Why doesn’t this scare the Wall Street wing of the Democratic Party?
Same reason the richest in the country (majority liberal) can support liberal causes and pontificate about racism, sexism, fairness, etc - - - they'll never have to suffer the economic consequences of their own politics because they know conservatives have their back. Blacks aren't the only useful idiots for liberals.

The lead editorial, among other ideas, calls for the Federal Reserve to target black unemployment instead of overall unemployment: “Instead of targeting overall unemployment, the Fed can correct its aim by targeting the Black unemployment rate. If the Fed provides enough stimulus to bring down Black unemployment, everyone benefits.”
If only we had a POTUS that could produce the lowest black unemployment in this nation's history....

I'm beginning to think the 9/11 hijackers missed a golden P.R. opportunity by targeting the WTC instead of the headquaters of the New York Times.

Talk about systematic racism.....against whites

Blacks had 100% Employment prior to 1861

Are black people really so subpar that they need all these advantages to succeed? Are all people really not equal after all?

I’m sorry, but this is ridiculous

When it starts I'm getting mine. My cousin claims we got some black folks in the clan.

I, for one, have had enough of placating to these idiotic frickers. I’m going out of my way to not bend the knee to these fricks. I’ll partake in any business that wants to buck this nonsense trend of corporations blindly falling in line. frick Chic Fil Et, frick the NFL, frick the NBA, frick BLM, frick Amazon, and frick Netflix.

All that for an injustice removed 150+ years ago?
Kiss my arse.

So the NYT is now the official mouthpiece of the Communist Party?

If you want to eliminate racism, don’t propose policies that favor one race over others. That’s racism.
It’s frustrating that adult human beings need this explained.

How does continually handing an unemployed person who has no motivation or necessity to find work being down unemployment?
We need to seriously restructure our welfare programs not fund them more on race lines

Prior to the coronavirus the U.S. economy was experiencing what President Donald Trump called a “blue-collar boom.” Minority unemployment was at the lowest levels in history. Wages for the lowest-paid workers were rising faster than wages for the highest earners. Inequality was in retreat, as economic growth created new opportunities, and the enforcement of immigration laws gave working-class Americans a chance to compete.
This should be quoted on every MAGA ad leading up to the election.
Not clicking the link, but does the author consider this a bad thing? It doesn’t fit with the rest of that ridiculous little “manifesto”.

There will 100% be a debt jubilee at some point this decade.

Another proposal calls for raising the inheritance tax — what Republicans call the “death tax,” because it is payable by the deceased (or their estates):
There are plenty of sensible options for increasing taxes on inheritances. Returning the estate tax to its 2009 levels would raise $270 billion over the next decade. Further increasing the rate so that it rises to 65 percent on estates over $1 billion would raise an additional $100 billion.
An even better approach would be to replace the estate tax with an inheritance tax. Under an inheritance tax, heirs would simply pay income and payroll taxes on their inheritance above a large exemption, just as others do on their wages.
So basically the same money being taxed twice or more
