Shea Dixon just now on OTB 104.5
- Maason Smith, it's pretty much LSU, Georgia, and USC in that order. Can't see him going anywhere but LSU when you consider he's from Bayou region, O is a DT coach and his #1 priority.
- Brian Thomas Jr, still feels LSU is the team to beat. Thinks he can pop anytime or wait until signing day...anyone's guess when.
- Tristan Leigh, Shea said if he had to predict today he said LSU and is team to beat. Leigh said he's big on family feel and LSU has it.

If LSU was a 3-4 Defense I would be confident but not too confident to land Maason Smith but LSU being a 43 defense and Coach O being a DT coach makes me feel that we have this in the bag.

Rivals/Leigh
The insiders at Rivals think LSU is the team to beat for Leigh too.. im starting to feel good about his chances

Encouraging. Hearing Collin D’Angelo earlier talk about the priority going forward being the oline too. Leigh and some quality interior guys would be nice.

Would be scary if Roy, Guillory, Taylor, Smith, Jackson, and Jones all work out

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that if maason winds up at UGA I will kill myself

That def doesn't hurt
I think leigh has been an lsu lean and when he didn't commit to Clemson, I knew we had him

I do think USC is a player here. We know Foreman is high on USC and him and Smith are good friends. Just something to watch.

Well, when I listen to Smith talk about Ed O on OTB last week, he spoke in glowing terms. Indeed, he sounded like he was already an LSU commit.
Then I saw where Foremen said that when Smith goes out to visit USC that he was going to stay with Foremen for two weeks. Then I got a little concerned.
Nonetheless, I can't see how Smith would commit to USC, as opposed to LSU, as Helton is probably gone after this season and that program will remain in disarray for the foreseeable future. I also heard facilities wise that they haven't kept up with the competition in the past few years as well

I think something major would have to go down for that to happen.

With Kardell Thomas and Anthony Bradford in 2019, Dumervil Hill Martinez in 2020 along with Dellinger and possibly Leigh in 2021 we are beginning to stack the positions we have been kinda slacking in years past!! If you add the top QBs we’re bringing in then you can clearly see O is continuing to build a top flight offense for us to succeed far in the future

There is also some elite talent in Louisiana next season at the offensive tackle position.

I heard the same thing as you about smith spending two weeks in california. thing is that's almost impossible now. no on campus visits till labor day at the earliest. guess he could just go visit foreman.
