Again...you thought there was only 1 black person on here. You're not picking this up? You should probably log off for the night and get some good sleep.

Depends. I've never been educated in anthropology. My degree path is in engineering.

Nah man.

Tbird and BHP immediately come to mind. And a lot of posters here don't mention their race at all.

I've been very open about my Native American ancestry. I'm over 50% which makes me about 99.62% more Native American than Warren. And I'm not the Lakota Sioux "get pissy at Trump for being on my sacred land" type of Native American either.

Democrats haven't done shite for my people in, well, ever. So we just keep taking money equally from everyone who visits our casinos. But before anyone thinks I get that royalty check, I'm not on the rolls and I've never asked the tribe for anything. My dad used to get some free Indian cheese though, and that shite was off the chain!

Minorities should pay attention and avoid herd mentality, especially when it comes to who "owns your vote". I was raised to be a liberal. It was beaten, metaphorically, into my head since I was a kid. Democrats owned my vote because i had a very limited understanding, or misunderstanding, of the two sides. When i got older and got a job and started paying taxes, I woke up and decided that the only one who owns my fricking vote is me!

Why are you making an issue of the race of the individuals who post on here?

So at least you admit it's a poor message? That's good.

And I would agree with your point about Biden's phrase. But you can't siphon off those votes with the same bullshite.

No, I really don't admit any such thing. And I believe you misinterpret the overall theme of the message that Trump has made overt efforts to convey to black citizens, which is generally that "You've been taken advantage of and taken for granted, and the decades old promises made to you by the Democrats haven't come true. And there really hasn't even been much effort to do so." So against that backdrop, the question of "What do you have to lose by trying something different" makes complete sense to me.

And there has been anecdotal evidence that at least some blacks agree with that sentiment, for example the situation in Baltimore a little while back when Trump got in the spat with Elijah Cummings. There were some surprising and enlightening interviews with local black citizens there.

·You say that Shaft is the only black person on here.
·I say that's a dumb statement.
·I then have to explain again several times what I initially said.
·You then ask, "Why are you making an issue of the race of the individuals who post on here"? <---that's you changing the topic. In fact, do you not recall your original comment...that was about race?

You flipped your position on to me and tried to tag me with it...that's weak.

Again, because you don't seem to get this, so this will be my last reply to you.....
My point argued was that it's dumb and ignorant to think there's only 1 black person on here.
How hard is that to understand?

What part of the Republican message doesn't resonate with you?

Lower taxes?
Support for the 1st and 2nd amendments?
Job creation?
Reduce immigration so wages don't plummet?
Don't burn and loot?
Don't destroy the most prosperous country ever created?

Trump already has far more Black support & votes than the media or polls indicate or would have you believe!

It is a very significant amount, and is growing daily.

Individual human "HEARTS & one's GUT", rather than their "Head" (what fake news targets & attempts to influence)....will be how/what decides "which lever is pulled" (or box checked on ballot) while voting in private!

It says a helluva lot more about most African-Americans.

Oh where do I begin?

Let’s see, the job creation bs. Let’s cut gov spending and invest in the private sector. Do you realize that the state and local governments are the biggest employers of black people in their respective states? Seriously look it up. The largest employer of black people is usually the government. That’s where a lot of black people get on. So all that talk about investing in the private sector is meaningless to us. We aren’t being hired in the private sector. Cuts to state and local government are cuts to black people’s pay checks. It’s a lower likelihood of a promotion and a raise. Newsflash we work hard contrary to the popular sentiment on this board. That’s usually the biggest thing and the only thing that matters to most.

Cuts to social services. Listen, even upper middle class and middle class black have poorer relations. Unlike white people, we actually care about them and don’t shun them to the side. The people who depend on those are our loved ones. Also when those things get cut, who are they coming to ask for help??

It’s purely economic for the most part.

This blows your post away! By the way, the govt is the largest employer in nearly every state!

It looks like Trump should be the darling of blacks.

No it doesn’t... I mean you can count the millions of people who drive for Uber and Lyft as “jobs”. Door dash, Watir, all these delivery services are jobs. Are they good jobs? Are they jobs that can support a household? Nope.
I’m talking real middle class jobs.

And I’ll use my own life as an example. My wife works for Medicaid. It’s an automatic no for me when you start talking cuts because that impacts my life. Same for the thousands of others who work those jobs.

Look at the states with the highest numbers of black peoples. Look at the employment for the private and public sector and you’ll see.
