Full disclosure I am white....LOL

Not a shot at REP or DEMS, but I think the main issue is that the VAST Majority of people are not really tuned into politics. They have very little understanding of how government even works. So with so little interaction it is not hard to see how people and in this case DEMS for them to go away from what they know. They are told that REPS are goingto do away with everything that has helped so many in their communities.
