SCOTUS Makes a huge ruling. Stops Obama Judge From Ending Voter ID For Voting in Alabama

The US Supreme Court on Thursday blocked a lower-court ruling that would have allowed residents of Alabama to vote by absentee ballot without providing a copy of a photo ID.
Alabama also requires the absentee ballot to be signed by two witnesses or notarized.

I mean if you have to have an I’d to check out a library book or use the computer there, why the hell do people think that an ID to VOTE isn’t the right thing????

well precedent, but it being 5-4 is not solid...there is absolutely no valid reason for it not to be 9-0...

I’ve never understood this reasoning. A SCOTUS ruling by 5-4 is just as effective as one by 9-0.

Adam Corolla has a good take on this, The left claims that the poor and elderly can’t get ids. This is a basic part of being an American citizen. Why aren’t there mobile Id trucks to get everyone an Id.

In this country all people who are eligible by the standards set from our government in large are voter eligible. Why do some want to monkey with those standards is nefarious to say the least.
