— Dropping top 8 July 4th
- Decision date is early signing day
- Will be early enrollee
- Said he's getting tired of constant phone calls
- Said with him, relationship is the most important, said some schools recruiting him aren't even trying to talk to other family members. Said Big Ed been recruiting him since 8th grade, met entire family including step family.
- Said he can tell some schools showing "fake love", said LSU is genuine, showing real love.
I said it earlier, this kid will be a Tiger.

I have a cousin in Houma who CLAIMS that LSU was at the top of his list before switching to 3-4 D but now they are a 4-3 D its a guarantee according to people around him.

Let's put it this way. If he isn't, this might be one of the biggest upsets ever in recruiting. I can't think of another top flight player that is from LSU country in South Louisiana that wouldn't come to the Tigers! I know they have had some big recruits in the Tri Parishes but none as big as Smith that LSU really wants at a position in which our head coach is his specialty.

Sounds like he is basically already in the boat, but will delay announcing officially to keep our chances with Foreman as high as possible

Because thats a much riskier move, we want Maason's commitment to be around the same time as Foreman, so if Foreman wants to wait until early signing day then its in our best interest for Maason to do the same.

Last time LSU signed a Freak it did not turn out as ell as hoped. He didn't live up to his billing, good player, not great..

He may not have panned at LSU but he has had a pretty steady career in the NFL. Remember who was the dline coach that year? D Hunter's jump in the NFL tells you something about that coach.
