God help us all. I guessing that won't be the last.

Football is dying a thousand deaths. RIP.

That should help the crime and poverty rate in Memphis

Will that make them less sucky?

This is gonna be the most socially just football season ever (if we even have one). I can’t wait!

It is a concern troll pissing contest at this point. The bigger the decal, the more you care.

The City Memphis didn't even riot and barely protested. This is just a University trying to prove how woke they are because of fear. They aren't in support, they are fearful of cancel culture.
This is a "So I can feel good" moment for them. Nothing more

players kneeling all over the place...
stickers and tributes to bLM
White people flailing around as if they're in a Pentecostal church to let that white guilt out..
what a time to be alive

Politics and entertainment are a deadly mix. Only a few people can pull it off and not always.
Good luck with that.
Baseball might be making a YUGE comeback. Especially if they update some rules in it.

Just curious but since that is a public university subsidized by the taxpayers, why don’t they have a say? Universities are supposed to be for higher learning, not political statements

Anybody who attends or watches a game featuring any collegiate moronic teams this year is foolish and, by filling the seat or paying for the tv subscription, is wasting hard-earned money. Same goes for any NFL teams! There is NO logical reason to support this trash.

I won't be watching.
Then again, nobody ever watched memphis football anyway, lol.

might have to revert back to what sec football was in the 60's/early 70's....

Now that the dominant power in football in the state has done it, it will be interesting to see what the other D-1 schools in the state do.

At this point, I'm fine if there is no sports for the rest of the year...maybe even into next year.
