I've never worn one and a month ago when I didn't it was just another thing

But as someone else put it in here.......now when I go into places without a mask you really would swear I was walking around with my dick hanging out. It's just comical.

How do people get to that point? And why weren't they wearing masks in 2019? Communicable diseases existed in 2019 also.

More people died from gun shots in NY than they did from Covid in last 24 hours.

Do i wear a mask or bullet proof vest.

The vast majority around where I live still do not wear masks in public...

It was easily under 20% around here before DeSantis issued his latest guidance. Now it's probably a little below 50%.

Idiots don't understand we are all going to get it unless you live isolated from all people. Even then, that didn't work out so well for Native Americans.

That being said...the viral load thing is still concerning to me.

My doctor told me it's a good idea so I do it. Yes, I know that doctors aren't always right and yes I'm capable of critical thought on things like this but I am gambling with his opinion over people on the internet

And that's all fine. I don't care if somebody else wears a mask. I don't look at them as if their dick is hanging out.

So, based on your health and doctors advice, you make a personal decision to do so... Does you Dr. recommend you wear the mask from now on? During flu season as well?

Again, you are making a personal decision based on medical advice from someone you trust... Good for you...

I have never had that experience from not wearing a mask. Everywhere I go the majority are not wearing. I'm very close to the barristas at SB and they told me the only reason they wear is because they'll get fired.

I’d say it’s maybe 2 out of 10 where I live as well.

And then a good half of those people aren’t even wearing it correctly

And wearing a mask in grocery stores and tight places for now. That's it. Super simple.

Ok, but wouldn't the flu shot and a mask in tight spaces make sense during flu season?

Either way, it is super simple... a personal decision all the way around...

Because you’re willfully neglecting to do a very simple thing which would help spread a communicable disease. Because the mask is about spreading to others, so the lack of mask is interpreted as lack of simple common courtesy.

How many highly communicable diseases existed in significant numbers in 2019 for which there are few known treatments? We have flu shots, vaccines, etc. for other diseases

This assumes you believe that covid is a dangerous disease. I don't. Maybe an analogy would help.

I want you to type the words 'Ghosts go away. Come again another day' every 10 posts on this site. It would be a simple thing to do and shows that you are courteous.

You: 'Why should I do that?'
Zach: 'To keep the ghosts away.'
You: 'I don't believe in ghosts.'
Zach: 'I don't believe in Covid.'

I haven't been hassled yet. My friend in CA said he has been yelled at a few times.

I just called my doctor to re-schedule an appt since I don't plan on wearing a mask. They basically persuaded me to keep the appointment and said it is just a recommendation. I'm fully expecting someone to say something when I go (it is a big clinic with lots of people).

Broome is trying to keep businesses open. Masks HELP with that though they are not 100% effective. The way to keep businesses open is for all to wear masks as much as you can stand it. I doubt many folks in BR will get the misdemeanor summons penalty.
