So we’ve officially reached the point where it’s considered brave (or racist? depending on your ideology) to respect the flag.
My hope is that all of those other girls are being victimized by peer pressure, and that their parents don’t actually vote accordingly.

If I am Roger Goddell, I negotiate with the woke players with an idea:
Opening day, 8 minute and 46 second moment of silence
Stand for the national anthem.
The former is far more effective and if followed with everyone standing, would be massively unifying.

Some people would call the 10 girls kneeling courageous because we have bastardized the word courageous. It doesn't take courage to do what you've been browbeaten into doing.

It’s easy to “be brave” when it’s following the crowd. Brave is standing up for what you believe in even when it’s not popular and knowing you’ll get heat for it.

All sports are going to be off the charts stratospheric virtue signaling. I will be surprised if an athlete doesn’t self immolate himself or herself on the field for the cause during the anthem.
I really hope sports are cancelled for the foreseeable future because they will be too nauseating to watch. It won’t be about sports at all but rather a bunch of political rallies.

Her name is Sam Leshnak. My wife was her goalie coach when she was in high school. Her dad is a veteran and raised her right.
