So now that Gravy is on his media tour talking about getting rid of Connie, he keeps telling and confirming to these national reporters that he is a minister.

Don't ministers have to go to seminary? Does he preach anywhere other than his own Insta rants?

Can’t you become a minister for like five bucks online?

That’s what’s wrong with online certificates & why you have so many black churches
Most are non profits & they pull in all kinds of money

Gary may be a preacher
He’s not a Pastor or Minister

It’s a way for someone to either money launder or not pay taxes on money that they should. Very common practice for a lot of online certified “ministers” when they have a business and want to shelter money from being taxed. I.E. the “Reverend” Al Sharpton.

No. They don't have to go to seminary.

You'd be shocked at how many "ministers" there are in certain communities.

That's sometimes true. Alot of them get the "minister" tag for discounts. Dry cleaners are a big one. Some restaurants, hotels, etc. offer discounts to ministers, legit, or otherwise.

Anyone can become an ordained minister by filing out an online application

You can get ordained online. Surprised he paid the fee tho. Unless he got some anonymous donation to cover it.

I believe he's been a minister or pastor for years, but until now, he had completely stopped saying it. He has pictures from probably 7-8 years ago with him in a black shirt and white color. Now that he's getting his 15 seconds of fame, he milking it for all he's got.

ETA: This is from 2016

He should be more concerned about talkin Jesus than Robert E. Lee.

Looks like a charlatan, acts like a charlatan. I wish the real black pastors and clergy would call these Vipers out for what they are.

Interesting get up. I thought Catholics had priests, not ministers.

Last I checked, you can’t self certify as a priest. Like the only thing I wish Protestants would adopt from the Catholics.

I wish the video of him behaving like an a-hole would go viral. You know the one where he didn’t even have proof of insurance on his vehicle.

Amazing to me that a guy like that has a reach of 175k people all of a sudden

And all of his new found followers still won’t even get him to 30% of a vote in his district

It ain’t just a black thing

Have you ever been through Winston County Alabama? We went to Lake Lewis Smith for Thanksgiving and were shocked at how many churches there were around there. There had to be 10 churches per square mile. Most buildings were trailers, dollar stores, and churches. We made a game of counting the churches each time we took a drive.

That area is 95% white.

He calls himself a Baptist minister but became ordained in the Pentecostal church at 10 years old.
