regardless of ones opinion on him and regardless of ones opinion on religion. none of that matters. at the end of the day his basic reasoning for doing what he did was right.
at all of the Facebook Justice Warriors in March and April who were falling over themselves to hate on a "defiant" pastor who dared to continue holding his church services. now look at where we are...
Pastor Tony Spell won.

his basic reasoning for doing what he did was right.
He came off to me as a misguided whacko that didn’t win anything.

multiple reasons, but mainly Right to Assemble
believe one of his quotes was
"until the hundreds of people walking around at every Wal-Mart is closed, do not close the church doors. until every business in this city closes its doors, do not close the church doors."

Well Err’body knows Walmarks was granted immunity from spreading the virus because they pay a lot of taxes and the church doesn’t.
Gotta pay to play in today’s world.

I guess you’re one of the few that donated your stimulus check to him.

I don’t get the hate for Walmart (and Lowe’s) in all of this. It’s not their fault our idiot governor didn’t specifically close them. I certainly understand the frustration with them being open while churches and other entities were forced to close, but Why the resentment towards those two? This was all JBE and our derelict legislator’s fault. They deserve every ounce of blame for all of this.
And it continues to this day.
And it continues to this day.

It’s not a hate for Walmart or Lowe’s. It’s pointing out that they never closed and were packed yet other business were closed and will likely be closed forever

no hate towards Walmart. they were allowed to operate just like Lowe's was this entire time at their own "social distancing discretion" as they should have been allowed.
a church on the other hand wasn't allowed the same treatment.
also, do you have stock in Walmart and Lowe's or something? no love for Home Depot?

Didn't he try and run a dude over with his bus and then got arrested? I'd put that one in the L column.

tattoo parlors for example weren't allowed to operate, despite the fact that they wear mask and gloves year round when working.
yet it was perfectly okay for 85 people at a time to go into a grocery store because there were signs on the floor pointing which direction to go and the cashier register has plexiglass on it

No stock of which I’m aware. There might be some in my 401K that I don’t know about tho.
I’m not knighting for the big box stores. I just don’t get why they get vilified for being open.
Did you notice how JBE tried to deflect on this question back in May when he said some businesses that chose to close could have been open? Said they needed to check the list to see whether or not they could operate. frick him ( and our feckless legislators who allowed this to happen).
This has been a monumental failure at every level of government and on numerous points. But I’ll bet every elected official gets re-elected if they aren’t term limited.

Uh, That’s not the only thing that made grocery stores safe. They also flipped shopping carts upside down to act as barricades that forced everybody to enter and exit at the same locations and put magical covid proof plastic over the keys of the credit card machines.

This part is true. Govt picking winners and losers won't happen again.

He’s a greedy douche with vv bad teeth.
He doesn’t impact my life in any way and if there’s a purgatory or a hell, he’ll probably get some time there for purporting to speak for the LORD.
