If God had given me those gifts at such a young age, I would have screwed it up as well. I tried hard enough to screw my life up without any of the praise and constant spotlight that he had to deal with. Honestly. I’m amazed that anyone that young is able to navigate that successfully.

The TD pass to D Byrd in the SECCG is still one of the best passes I’ve ever seen.

I respect both he and TM for turning their life around. Wish we got to see RP as much as Tyrann though. But man... he was such an a-hole. He was the only player on that team playing for himself, he fought coaches, and was entitled.

I played against him in high school every year and got to know him somewhat by the time he was graduating high school. He absolutely thought he was a prodigy evidenced by him stating he was going to win multiple heismans before stepping foot on campus. He had a lot of trouble buying into the team concept and was given more than enough chances to be a part of this program. It still pisses me off because the dude was as naturally gifted as anyone I’ve ever seen.

He is an assistant coach in college football. Can't remember where.
