Recently discovered exerpt from George Washington's diary.....

I am soooooo depressed today.....
It's extremely cold and I just feel like my troops hearts aren't in it anymore....
Ye Mainstream Media are constantly touting polls that show the Revolution is EXTREMELY unpopular.....
The same pollsters show that in the Colonies, King George has an approval rating of 80%, while my approval rating is barely above 20%....
Last night, one of the militia accidentally killed one of our Indian scouts who got drunk and stole some corn, so NOW a group called ILM are threatening to abandon the cause....
I feel like I can't possibly go on, diary.....
What should I do?"

I honestly thought Conservatives were tougher than this.
I completely understand being down, but Jeebuz some of the whining makes us look like little schoolgirls .

This is actually poignant. I see posts from Conservatives saying to give up on the internet, give up on Trump, give up America...
How bout we simply stand our ground?! We don't need to rally, storm "CHOP" zones, whatever... we just need to not change our core beliefs. To RAISE our children instead of letting society raise them for us. To RAISE them to believe right from wrong. RAISE them to believe in the America our Founding Fathers created.
And most of all, to let them know that standing for your beliefs is much more courageous than giving in to the mob.
The OP is right. Washington did not give up. He BELIEVED in his cause. And so should we.

Many of the inmates have enough later intelligence left to know when they are being made fun of.

Hell, I've caught myself getting the sads lately, but at some point we have to suck it up.

Yep. They are already eating their own.
I don't know what will happen either, but I think it will be that BLM starts coming up with their own political candidates and they and the democratic party tear each other down.
As one poster said, we just have to stand our ground. It will happen. They'll call someone out who won't fold and their end will begin.
