Is it just me or have the Republicans been quiet?

Maybe I missed it but where is the outspoken leadership from the Republicans in house and Senate. I feel like no one, McConnell included, has said a damn thing about any of this

Of course they have. They only talk about tax cuts, fighting wars, and defending our greatest ally (Australia, of course), and whatever media narrative is trending on their Facebook (gays and BLM, apparently).

When your enemy is killing itself, don't get in the way. Maybe that is their approach. I'd like to think seeing all that is happening is turning more people away from wanting to be associated with BLM and Antifa in any way.

They never should've said that they agree with the protests but the violence is too far.
BLM claims that there is systematic racism and republicans including Trump should've gone all out to dispute that claim.
You either stand tall or bend over like a bitch.
There is no half bending and trying to do that only invites extremism from the loons who have a no prisoners approach.
That is a great example of how a lot republicans have a problem being that they have no framework to resist the leftist deluge that's coming. They always agree with the protesters and even agree with their message but say they are just taking things too far. That concedes the moral high ground to the other side, which inspires more extremism from their opponents.

It's possible that if the Left can continue this violent revolution without any response from the GOP, then, at least some of Trump's base might become demoralized enough to stay home in Nov thus assuring a Biden victory.

They have been very quiet. Not saying a word.
But you know what? Who cares. Us in the red states and red cities with our GOP representatives are nice and comfy. Our economies are rolling, most of us are not scared of COVID and we don't give a shite about BLM.
Allowing the blue states to hang themselves is not a bad strategy but I can see a point were the Republicans will eventually have to step in if the blue state temper tantrum gets too far out of hand.

Exactly. They will even defend the abuse of their own voters. Time and time again. You want to defend White people? GOP abandons you. Defend statues and monuments? GOP is crickets. Smirking at a pro life rally? GOP loudly condemns a teenager.
