I’m pretty much once and done on movies, even ones I like. Tropic Thunder was great, but I’ve never seen it again. I don’t carve out time for many movies, so I tend to try something new when I do watch.

Tropic Thunder gets my vote.

Comedies are generally a one and done, unless it’s something in the background or showing a friend the movie kinda thing. More likely to rewatch something live Forrest Gump/saving private Ryan than something like scary movie or the cable guy

I would say it's the complete opposite.

Growing up I probably watched Airplane 100 times. Stupid comedies are the epitome of rewatch.

It's the 3 hour epics like Lawrence that you have to put in the work.

I've never heard someone say, I've watched Dumb and Dumber, Caddyshack, Animal House, Coming to America, Trading Places, Vacation once.

But Deer Hunter, Deliverance, Doctor Zhivago, Apocalypse Now, those type of movies you hear people say they saw it once.

Great comedies tend to be the most rewatchable genre. You can have Dumb and Dumber on repeat and I’ll almost always be in the mood for it.
