How about learning basic civil responsibility and then maybe earn the respect of others you live with.

I won’t care because I’m not a pearl-clutching snowflake. Crazy to see how so many people don’t have issues with criminals playing for their favorite teams but God forbid someone takes a knee.

Oh the horror!!!!

I was already at a tipping point with the NFL between the blatant cheating by the Commissioner, rigged games decided by officials not players, and the plethora of attention whores. This has taken away my remaining interest.

I'll still watch I'm sure. I'll be annoyed because I know it's going to be forced on the players and the whole thing is bullshite, but I'll still watch.

I don't see how you saw this as accurate or clever when you typed it.

Do you think no one actually disagrees with anthem kneeling?

Only watched probably 4 NFL games last year, plan on never watching another. Used to be my Sunday thing, never again.

While I don't love the kneeling crap, that in and of itself isn't going to cause me to watch or not watch the NFL. What will cause me to turn it off is that it will be the only thing talked about for the entire season and that is simply not entertaining. It is just annoying.

I'm sure this is going to be a topic with every sporting event this year, including everyone's precious college football. The players aren't usually out for the anthem, but the band is and I've seen band members do the kneeling thing over the last few years and I'm sure we will see it more this year.

Aw yeah. I'll be watching, no more or less than I ever have. As to the kneeling situation, I prefer my American flag respected, but as for everyone else, I don't really care how they approach it. If they wanna kneel, that's their problem. The majority of them are seeking attention anyway, and nothing else, and I ain't gonna give it to them especially by way of turning the game off forever.

I'll watch but I'll turn the games on at kickoff, I won't be watching during the anthem. I love sports and won't be forced by others into reactive behavior.

I wish the NFL years ago would have adopted the college football method of playing the anthem while the teams were in the locker room.

Too late for that now.

If college’s start doing this too, the end of football will come sooner than anticipated.

Then anthem is done when teams are in the locker room for college games, a tradition I wished the NFL would have adopted long ago....no chance now it's become too much of a lightning rod to even discuss doing that now.

Your virtue signaling aside, My point was that it is ridiculous that he thinks a majority of the populous agrees with him; to the point that an opposite view would be deemed fake.

I’m still curious why players don’t kneel immediately before kickoff or directly after the game (like some pray together). It would show solidarity and give them the tv air time doing they desire.

Unless it is about the flag.

I don’t know why they don’t start playing it before the players come out. Take away their moment.

People change the channel after the game ends, or they would easily get mistaken for people praying.
