What advantages does SLI have over LAC? Do you guys anticipate these two rising and falling together?

It's actually "green".

MUCH lower costs. LAC having to put in rail lines and all sorts of infrastructure. So CAPEX waaaay higher. SLI shows in PEA that they have the lowest cost per ton for extraction in the industry. And that's conservative. They'll beat it IRL.

No indian tribes blocking their work. Gonna have to pay them injuns off.

Haven't produced shite. SLI been making lithium for over a year.

SLI just a few hours from Tesla and future Ford plant in Tennessee. Will railroad running through Lanxess and Tetra. Close to Gulf for shipping overseas.

No water needed for SLI. Cheap electricity.

All reagents they need are made on site or within 15 minutes of SLI.

Trained work force. Brine is our business and business is GOOD.

All permits in place. No expansion of physical footprint-no trees getting cut.

Mintak has worked with Elon Musk before.

SLI will teabag LAC. Look at brine site map online. SLI could potentially supply all domestic lithium needs and much of the needs overseas while being the cheapest and greenest. SLI has promoted themselves as America's lithium producer. They could well end up as the only major supplier if it really is all about the environment. No one else even comes close.

They are the only junior that is extracting lithium currently. They will be producing commercially within the next 9-12 months. No one else will be producing a speck of shite for at least a year or more.

SLI's tech can be used on other brine resources elsewhere in the world.

Just wanna say thanks for all smart people in here. Been putting everyone I know on it and they all think I’m some kinda genius. In reality I have an IQ slightly higher than a banana and I’m just telling people what’s been said on this board.

My friends all think I'm some stock picking guru now too. If you strip out SLI, I've still done better than the market this year by about 1.5x which is remarkable considering most of my non SLI stocks are SPAC's and they've been getting slaughtered, but it's a TOUGH slog out there in non SLI stocks. If SLI goes as high as we think it might, I'm not going to put it all back in speculative stocks as I just don't think this one can be replicated. If I'm taking profits at several times current SLI price level, then I'd probably put 70% of after tax profits into index funds, donate a few percent to various charities, 5% in SpaceX, 5% in other speculative stocks just for fun really, then pay off my mortgage and all other debt I have. Would be awesome to be debt free and financially independent at age 37. Still a dream, but it could happen!

Do you think the $17.5 covered calls for November 19th I wrote are in danger of getting exercised? I could buy them back at a relatively small loss right now. I could see it going to $15 by then if JV is announced pre November 19th, but hopefully (for my covered calls sake), $17.5+ won't be reached until December or next year.

Yeah very confident this will be $20+ next year, but sub $10 next week is possible for sure.

I think $20+ is possible after earnings report and JV. I can see the JV doubling the current price. If Lanxess signs the JV, you can bet your arse that SLI has more than proven their worth. Virtually all risks is removed at that point and you'll see big institutional money flow in. Once people understand how green they are and the virtually limitless potential, you could very well see some very eye popping numbers. There have been a few lithium experts say they could corner the market.

I can remember just a few months ago when this was $4ish that some posters were arguing that the JV being executed was already baked into the current price...

That's a tough one. If they show earnings like I think they will and the JV gets announced by then, I think we go over $20. Lanxess wanted 3 months of data from SiFT/LiSTR. SiFT was delivered in July. There were a few hiccups getting the hydraulic balance just right, but they did. Not sure exactly when they got it rolling full speed. I'm pretty sure it was at least by early August which would give Lanxess 3 months of data for August, September and October. Plans for plant already drawn up and ready to go. Contractors and supplies in place. We I think the JV will be announced sometime in November, but could be into December.

I had 3 people ask me today about it and all 3 were pretty clueless about it, including one that owns a shite ton of land they are leasing!!!! None of the 3 are worth less than $30 million and all said they plan on making significant purchases soon. One did buy about 75k shares during afternoon dip I believe. Told them not to wait until earnings or $11 may be a bargain.

The two I know that are having to divest large sums will be buying back in later. One already has and he was the largest. The other I cautioned to hold as long as he could. He's was about to sell at $9. He'll sell in smaller blocks when I text him to. I'm shocked that some of the big money people around here are so clueless about it. But once one starts buying, it'll be a dick measuring contest to get the most shares.

And then there's the average Joe's seeing their buddies making bank and are about to FOMO. Just wait until that happens on a larger scale.

SLI and LLKKF have been ripping for me. Up 200% on both of them and I feel like I got in late on SLI compared to the rest of the board

I'd be leery of Lilac. They say they can extract 80% in 2 hours. They say it's high purity. They say their cost effective.

They have proven nothing. Nada. SLI has done it, built the industrial demo, exceeded all initial expectations and projections and are producing lithium chloride anyone can tour and see. My concern is Gate's and friends stealing tech. People think that because he's rich, he's smart. Hell, he stole Microsoft. What else has he done? Not a mf'ing thing.

He worked with Musk on a deal with Tesla for the company he worked for prior to leaving for SLI. Drawing a blank on the name. So they know each other.

I'm hoping for a very merry Christmas. And even better in 2022. I think I deserve it after the shite storm I've been through the last two years. But when life kicks me in the balls, I punch that mf'er in the nose.

A lot of people on this board were considering bailing. That drop let me get back in at a price I never thought possible. I thought I had done well and a day later diehards in here were talking about having enough and only stomaching a little more before they bailed. Instantly I thought I may have made a big mistake.

Long time lurker, Here to express my gratitude to you guys, General, Smack, and the rest. First share purchased because of this thread in March of 2020, it’s now 40% of my portfolio and if there weren’t tax implications , I’d probably liquify the rest and go all in. Lol. Funny to think that this thread is and has changing peoples lives and will continue to do so…. Hell , I was talking to Cox support about it today after he told me to buy AMC.
