South Africa is a social experiment showing that trying this without both sides buying in is a total clusterfrick.
There a a whole generation of whites there who tried to embrace blacks and not be proud of their heritage. Didn’t end well for them, so we have racial issues over there which are much worse now than they were after apartheid ended in the early 90s.

What law or policy are you seeking to change?
Black people commit a huge percentage of violent crime per capita. HUGE.
Based on total interactions with police, black people are no more likely than any other people to wind up dead.
Is there ever ANY introspection about black crime rates? Ever? Blaming everybody else for your problems makes people not like you.

Bingo. What they don't get is the vast majority of us grew up with little means and worked our asses off to get where we are. We just want to wake up, go to work, then come home and drink a beer or smoke a little weed without anyone bothering us or trying to stick their hands in our pockets. Because of this, we will never see ourselves as privileged no matter how much they try and push it down our throats.
