What’s the general feeling among the Alabama fan base that an Internet Tide Supefan led the riot and destruction and violence last night?

Woodfin comes in a day too late.
FunnyMaine should be arrested and made to pay damages.

Birmingham Fire Chief Cory Moon said there were more than 20 fires set. Some of those fires were commercial and some were dumpster fires.
Absolutely no reason for this

I love Alabama football, but if you incite a riot that leads to the destruction of public and personal property, you should be arrested, regardless of what sports team you pull for.

I heard they destroyed the Alabama Theater which is an absolute disgrace. Woodfin is a complete moron, but moron mayors are a tradition in Slumingham.

This is funny.
Last night he met the rioters when they were trying to pull down that civil war monolith and asked them to go home and to give him 24 hours to take it down the right way.
So the crowd dispersed and now he's put a curfew in to where if they DONT take it down, nobody can go attempt it again.

Wouldn't be somewhat surprised that he is ok with one day of destruction, and then locked it down.

The police stood down before and after Woodfin arrived.
Who ordered that?
A news reporter got beaten and mugged during the event.

Yep, a day late and a dollar short. Five years from now, when jobs and economic activity have fled the Birmingham city limits en masse, people will understand just how significant this was.

i've been waiting birmingham to get in on this. destroy the alabama theater? that's one of the few nice things they have left there.

FWIW the Alabama theater wasn’t destroyed. They broke windows but I don’t think they went inside. They did, however, completely burn a black owned clothing store on the same block, though.

Yeah, the California Fashion Mall. An incalculable loss.
