What is the end game?

I’m convinced that it’s human nature to occasionally settle their differences through violence. I’m not naive enough to think we have evolved past that.
It’s like when you and your brother keep talking shite and it builds and builds until you have an all out fist fight in the front yard. Then in a couple of weeks you hug and make up.
Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
Can that be avoided? Am I wrong about human nature?

This is more like when you have a retarded brother, and he stands out in the yard screaming for you to come fight him, but everybody knows you are going to kick his arse, except for him. You just watch him out in the yard work himself into a frenzy and laugh at him, until he gets so mad he passes out.

It's not about nature.
It's about balancing control and impulse.
Civilization and our current society is based on being able to abide by a sense of morality and avoiding consequences resulting from giving into our impulses.
But, we all have a hulk inside that loves to get out... some people just need a reason to let him loose.
Others only lose control when they get overly emotional.
There's also the mob mentality at play.
It's all very basic.
The real question behind all of this.... is who does this benefit?
And why are they encouraging it?

You are 100% absolutely correct. That's why there are politicians in this country who would like nothing more than have 100% domination of their political opponents. That's how you can justify changing the constitution, raising the number of supreme court justices and have mail in voting. It's all about political/personal power. It always has been and always will be except for a brief period of about 250 years.

Humans have a very short attention span. The rioters will tire of this shortly and go back to shooting each other
