Gregg Jarrett brings up a great point about Judge Sullivan lawyering up

The 2nd part of his post is something I haven’t heard anyone else bring up.

Judge Sullivan has dug himself a deep hole. Aggravated TDS.

Plus, one has to wonder if he discussed this with the guy who wrote the newspaper piece who somehow miraculously ended up be the person Sullivan chose to present the case.

Seems like a good reason to do a two-hop investigation on all communications by the judge.

I’ve said all along this will not end well at all for soon to be former Judge Sullivan.

It’s such a odd place Democrat’s are defending. They are just out there for total scraping our bill of rights.

The Judge is doing what all TDS sufferers do... engaging in scorched Earth policy that is intent on destroying everything if it in any way leads to Trump being removed from office.
The sanctity of the court, the constitution itself, are secondary. Destroying Trump is their primary goal.

Sullivan has taken on the role of Judge, Prosecutor and defendant in the same case.

Odd that Sullivan felt the need to lawyer up.
Flynn was never given that opportunity.

And depending who you ask, when Flynn did lawyer up that firm intentionally tanked his defense in multiple ways.
There are accusations that they botched the FARA registrations for him and his son intentionally and that they conspired with DOJ and the judge to railroad Flynn.

I also read that the lawyer that Sullivan has hired is a defense attorney. Why would he need a defense attorney? Could it be that he is in deep trouble and we are looking at this the wrong way. He is lawyered up for a whole different reason.

Which is a point brought up yesterday.
A judge being asked to respond to an appellate court shouldn’t need a criminal defense attorney.
If they need an attorney, they should get one who does constitutional law since that is what appeals cover.

I’m still confused why Sullivan continually delayed sentencing of Flynn for what... nearly 2 years?... if he is now so hellbent on hanging the guy.

Oh this judge has talked to a lot of people!

Sure seems like it. I feel bad for him. NOT!

Perhaps. Then again, maybe he's a corrupt, bought-and-paid-for Swamp Rat who is simply following orders. My guess is, it's some of both.

There is definitely more to this than we know. It feels as though this is the hill the left is choosing to die on. I’m sure they judge shipped and got this case in front of Sullivan and he has just as much to lose as those who are instructing him to do this. It makes you really want to know what Flynn knows.

Ol judge Sullivan was ready to put Flynn away for 50 years and is pissed he won't get his 15 minutes of fame after making his ruling and seeing Republicans flip out. He wanted the spotlight.
Poor little Sullivan's theatrical debut has failed.

This is what I was thinking.
It would be the same as if a judge had asked a prosecutor to respond in person to the court regarding a motion that the prosecutor had filed, and the prosecutor hired a lawyer to go with him before the judge.

Sullivan evidently is an incompetent judge and personally a POS. He is also one big coward. Maybe, Flynn can sue him for violation of his constitutional rights.

I am convinced he had communications with the retired judge he appointed as the amicus.
