People celebrate the Lombardi Packers as indomitable...but they won a World Championship in 1965 because of this call...against the Colts.

It did result in "the Baltimore Extension" which raised the goal posts 10 feet because a clearly missed FG was called good.

1965 Divisional Playoff Game

Don Chandler's wide right FG was called good saving the Green Bay Packers in the final seconds. Even the kicker turns away in disgust because he knows he missed it.

The `85 Royals is the answer but it was OK because the cardinals still had " the best fans in baseball" trophy.

Terrible non-call: Steelers getting their second undeserved Super Bowl despite several clear blocks in the back during James Harrison's pick six. Otherwise the Cards win

Argentina 1986 World Cup "Hand of God" goal.

Greg Louganis put AIDS blood in the pool in 1988 and wasn't DQ'd.

The Kansas City Royals in 85 also come to mind.

#1 on this list is without a doubt the 2002 Lakers

And the Kings STILL took it to game 7.

Colorado needed 5 downs at the end of the game to beat Missouri 33-31 in 1990. That improved the Buffs record to 4-1-1. It should have been 3-2-1, and no doubt would have eliminated them from the NC discussion.

They also beat Notre Dame in the Orange Bowl 10-9 after a punt return by Rocket Ismail was called back because of a ‘phantom’ clipping call. That would have given the Irish a lead with under a minute to go. I hate ND though, so I’m glad people think they got screwed.

CU shared the title with 11-0-1 Georgia Tech, who smoked Nebraska in the Citrus Bowl.

GT might win outright if 5th down was called correctly. The next 3 teams in the rankings all had 2 losses each.

Bama beating UGA a few years ago has to be up there.

So many blatant missed calls, capped off with the WR being a full yard downfield on the fourth and goal play that ties the game.
