Finally got into a barber shop this morning. Had to wait 20 minutes in the parking lot till they called me to walk into this huge shop with only 2 out of the 10 chairs operating for social distancing.
I had to wear my lawn mowing mask.

Then I had to sign a document after each of 7 paragraphs. 7 sigs and dates. The text of the document came down to this:

"I hereby swear if that if I get covid 19 and die this barber shop is not responsible."

Then they made me wash my hands with sanitizer. I guess because I touched their pen. After paying the bill they made me wash my hands with sanitizer again since I had to touch the door to get out.

Totally different in Texas. Walked right in. No one wearing a mask. Got a nice trim.

Same with attorney offices. Ours hasn't brought back his staff bc he doesn't want the liability.

This is what happens when Gordon McKernan's interests align with Karen's interests.

This was always the force behind the government orders, not some 1984 notion of state control. It's the fricking lawyers.

Went to a Great Clips here in Ohio this morning. Checked in online and arrived 5 minutes before my wait time (35 minutes) expired. Was greeted at the door by a masked employee, had my temperature taken and asked if I would wear a mask (that I brought if needed). 6 out of 12 booths were available. Got a trim, paid and left. Easy peasy.

Yeah. Prove you got it at a business. Like you got the flu at a business.

Tort reform in Texas. Not in Louisiana. That's the difference.
