Finally got into a barber shop this morning. Had to wait 20 minutes in the parking lot till they called me to walk into this huge shop with only 2 out of the 10 chairs operating for social distancing.
I had to wear my lawn mowing mask.
Then I had to sign a document after each of 7 paragraphs. 7 sigs and dates. The text of the document came down to this:
"I hereby swear if that if I get covid 19 and die this barber shop is not responsible."
Then they made me wash my hands with sanitizer. I guess because I touched their pen. After paying the bill they made me wash my hands with sanitizer again since I had to touch the door to get out.

Totally different in Texas. Walked right in. No one wearing a mask. Got a nice trim.

I'll just keep cutting my own hair, thanks.

Find a new Barber. He is way to close with his lawyer.

Got a haircut in Texas almost 2 weeks ago. They asked for masks. So I had one one but was told to take it off so they could cut my hair.
Pretty easy deal.

Same with attorney offices. Ours hasn't brought back his staff bc he doesn't want the liability.

No.
More along the lines of:
I’m an easy cut. Just get out the beard clippers and start shearing.

This is what happens when Gordon McKernan's interests align with Karen's interests.

Bossier City. The shop I go to in Shreveport is still closed.

And of course it's the Dem's howling about giving businesses liability wavers for Kung Flu.

I'm on my third cut since all this started because the girl that cuts my hair does it at her house and does not give one frick. Except you gotta pay in cash

This type of control is every Prog's wet dream.

I got a haircut last week. Me, nor my barber wore a mask. Old school shop were they shave your neck with a straight razor.
Had an appointment with my attorneys this morning. I was offered a mask, lawyer wasn't wearing one. I declined.

But a lot of places are still scared, especially with little AOC, Dora the Explorer (Lina H.) still spitting out restrictions in Harris County.
I live in NW Houston, surprised how some of the mid-level chains like Hat Creek remain drive-thru only, just like even bigger chains (Dairy Queen). A Spring Creek BBQ in my area remains completely closed and even Discount Tire! I have already seen several other restaurants in the part month or so closed forever, which is sad...

How's the ambulance chaser gonna prove where his client was infected with up to a 14 day incubation period?
