It's name is Stephanie. He's a male, but claims to be female, but also identifies as a deer. A male deer.

Twitch streamer FerociouslySteph is a male-to-female trans woman who self-identifies as a deer. In multiple videos making the rounds, she discusses prancing outside, eating grass, and she can be seen practically orgasming as her partner gives her ‘scritches.’ Adding a fun twist to this juicy cocktail of internet absurdity is that, if her makeshift antlers are any indication, she identifies as a male deer.
quote:
The council is described by the platform as a group that will help “inform and guide decisions” and partake in drafting new policies, updating existing ones, developing products to improve safety, and creating plans to protect the interests of so-called marginalized groups, among other things.
quote:
She’s vocal in her belief that gamers are white supremacists, she thinks white men’s opinions don’t matter
quote:
Dazzled by the sheer surrealism of this coming from a TRANS-DEER, one risks overlooking the more serious fact that this is also coming from someone with ties to the Anti-Defamation League

This is why I’m back to watching YouTube videos. Twitch is running its course.

When Roku dropped Twitch, I stopped watching. I only watched the dudes who streamed Metal Gear marathons anyway.
Apparently, I've missed how insane the platform has become.

I only have a Twitch account for two reasons.
1. D&D Beyond requires a Twitch account to use.
2. Critical Role live broadcasts.

Must be a ton of Clayton Bigsbys out there.

My sister actually had to go to "sensitivity training" because in her capacity as a career services advisor, she advised against a new graduate pointing out they identified as a cat on their resume.

yeesh
And if she doesn't and said grad student can't get a job, your sister is blamed.

I take this to mean that he changed his sex so his opinion would matter.

Probably better to focus on their opinions and the harm they have than their personal life. So, some comments from Twitter regarding the comments:
quote:
There are a lot of dumb people just talking about her pronouns. The real thing that scares actual gamers is that she said she thinks most gamers are white supremacists and she wants to get rid of voice chat in games. Right after being put in a position of power on twitch.
quote:
Dear @Twitch how can you give moderation to someone with a God complex? She’s threatening to come after people’s source of livelihood because they disagree with her. LINK …
quote:
Exactly. Don’t bash her for that stuff. Bash for for threaten to abuse her power and bash her for the things she is saying and getting away with.

I actually listen to their podcasts instead (simply because my commute is long and having those long episodes where I don't have to adjust to the next episode all that often is nice). Personally, I made a Twitch account to get the freebies in GTA V.
Didn't know that about D&D Beyond. Weird.

That's understandable. I'm on Pacific time so I listen in the background after work. If I was on Eastern or Central, I couldn't imaging STARTING the broadcast at 9 or 10pm.

How did the world arrive at it’s current place?
I mean seriously where did we go so wrong?

quote:I mean the easy answer is lack of discipline either from the shortcomings of a broken household or just lazy parenting and zero accountability for one's actions well into what used to be considered adulthood. We've gone from coddling children to coddling people until they are in their mid-late 20s and by that time they just expect everything to be fixed for them. People absolutely have no idea how to cope with being told "No." anymore.

I get your point, but there’s a line to how accepting I’m going to be towards someone before I just point, laugh derisively and wonder wtf happened to this world
I can bash it both for its moronic viewpoints and for it being a guy pretending to be a girl pretending to be a male woodland critter.
It’ really is incredible to see an industry consistently attack its own consumers.

Kind of scary to extrapolate that phenomena out. It's inherently unsustainable.

Which I understand, but attacking the individual just weakens the argument against their statements. Instead if someone says, "You're not really a woman" or "You're not really a deer" (I cannot believe I had to type out that second sentence), then it gives weight to their statements of "I'm only using my power to defend myself."
So I prefer focusing on the abuse of power, and just ignoring their personal life. If this were a white male "without any trans labels" gamer, then people would just focus on the words.

I'm not sure which industry I'd lump Twitch into though.

Based on OPs link, looks like they're gunning for the Outrage one.
