Me and my friend used to laugh our arse off watching people trip on the Haley center steps in between classes.

Your work has inspired me. You do not skimp on quality, nor content.
You do not heed the words of naysayers, yet do not let your ego swell no matter the laud.
You worry not for brevity, if length is needed. Nor eschew levity for the want of being brief.
Your persistence has dampened a doubtful heart and brought forth an upswelling spirit.
I shall be commencing work on another Point Of View piece about warfare in the age of sail.

Dear friend,
I am only a rake with a knack for raucous rhyme and rambling ribaldry. An arse with a aptitude aimed at alliteration. A bard with a bad back and bawdy bowdlerisms.
I cannot be the People’s Poet, only a ponderous panderer of poetry and pointless prose. My creations are carefully crafted, casual carvings from the cliffs of cold creation. A foil’s folly, a fool’s feint at finding fruitless fame.
But your words bolster my resolve to plunge headlong once more into the fray.
Once more into the breach, dear friend, once more.
It would truly be an honor to see which of my works you find worthy, which words of wit and wisdom writ that woke whimsy.
