The third game new game announced this week (Mafia I and II) that I'll probably be getting:
Trailer
LINK
quote:

Paper Mario: The Origami King is a brand new adventure that has Mario teaming up with his new partner, Olivia, as "they team up with unlikely allies like Bowser and the Toads to battle evil Folded Soldiers."

quote:

There will also be a new ring-based battle system that requires both "puzzle-solving skills and a quick wit."

Also saw, they're remastering Mario 64, Sunshine and Galaxy in an anniversary collection this year to celebrate Mario's 35th anniversary.

Wish they would do the same for Mario RPG, but since that's a Square developed game that might be harder to do

I'm curious how Mario Galaxy can work in handheld mode. Detacting the joycons I see how it works, but there's quite a bit of motion controls to where I don't see how shooting star bits or certain minigames will work.

The game is "happy" and "pretty", it makes me feel good, but doesn't make me feel good playing it.

I much rather a 64 and Paper Mario remake over sunshine.

Well that's fun news to wake up to.

Easily buy both of those, if the anniversary collection is one game.

The insane part for me about Mario 64 is that I never completed.

Between Golden Eye with friends and then Smash, even fckking Pokemon Snap, I just never finished Mario64.

It appears it is:

VGC has added to its report that Super Mario 64, Super Mario Sunshine, and Super Mario Galaxy will be treated as a "special anniversary collection", rather than straight ports to Switch.

Unless by collection it just means a segment in their online store, but it sounds like it will be a singular release

1) Metroid is not nearly as popular as people think, that's just a reality. It sucks, but it is what it is. Smash, Kart, Mario, AC, Pokemon - all routinely outsell Metroid. That's why they are first. Heck Zelda sells less than all of those.

2) My guess - we didn't see anything about this Paper Mario game until now...we were going to get another teaser for this around E3, but that's out. It will be the 2021 game.

I got tired of saying this in old threads.

Outside of us who grew up with Super Metroid, no one has played. The GC ones are great, but also didn't get in front of many eyeballs, while also being 20yrs old.
