CNBC interview

VTIQ pending merger with Nilola Motors within the first couple wks in June.

Hydrogen, zero-carbon pure-play on the ultra carbon-heavy $600B long and short-haul commercial transportation industry.

Entire production sold out for the next 24 months. NKLA has cash deposits and contracts for over $10 billion/2 years of production already booked with almost every large transportation company in the world (Anheuser Busch, ABInBev, Pepsi, Wal-Mart, Amazon, FedEx, Ryder)

Estimated that long haul fuel cell truck goes approx 800 miles before it needs a refill (20 minutes or less).

Nikola gets paid roughly one dollar for every mile their truck is driven (7-year lease).

They are building enough hydrogen refill and battery recharging stations in North America to reach 80% of the most traveled long haul and short-haul trucking routes.

- Elon is not a fan of Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, says success not possible. (possibly threatened?)

Disclaimer- Invest at your own risk. Has been a lot of pumping and recent merger hype. I own shares and warrants 11.50 strike.

Getting in as soon as I can at the bell. Can’t trade pre-market so I’m hoping it doesn’t blow up too much before then. But it’s the talk of all of Twitter so we’ll see

Hoping for a little pull back, but don't expect much. This looks like a long term hold- don't want to be standing around waiting like DKNG

In at 18.3. Had a limit buy for 17.5 or so but said screw it and got in. Long hold for me.

Investors (I'm one) who keep stumbling over the VectoIQ name will get relief soon: The company will be renamed Nikola Corporation after the merger closes in June.

And beyond that? Nikola expects to launch its battery-electric trucks in 2021, with the fuel-cell versions following about two years later. It has more than 14,000 preorders, which, once filled, will generate more than $10 billion in revenue.

With VTIQ, and also NVDA, is there a general consensus for a long term hold with both?

I have both of these and would like to know others thoughts about this as well. I believe these are best served for a long hold as the potential has a very high ceiling.

The weak knees saying that they are holding long term, will panic when it starts sliding back down because there will be no news to pop off of, or stay consistently high; and the purchases were made with no idea of value. Usually happens with these long term specs that make the runs on reddit and such.

Definitely a long term hold. There's going to be some wild pumps and swings if you want to listen to the noise, but they're definitely on to something. Hydrogen fueling station is their main business model. Once the merger is completed with more announcements, partnerships, badger production, etc. this will further rise imo.

I think I'm going to hold this one for next 3 weeks and monitor where it sits. If it jumps a bunch up before then I may dip out.
