He saw the dipshit son on the left side brandishing, so he attempted to go around the right side of the vehicle. As he reached the front, he could tell the guy intended to shoot him. He decided his best chance was to try to get the gun. And the struggle actually lasted longer than you might have thought - it's not like the murderer was immediately able to murder the victim.

Well I certainly wouldn’t run straight at them if I had a means of escape...I’ll take my chances at outrunning a couple old dudes over fighting with my fists with a man that has a gun.

He didn't have to outrun the old guys (one was 34 by the way). He had to outrun the ammo in their shotgun, and that's harder.
I do like how you know exactly what reaction you'd have to two dudes rolling up on you in a pickup and pointing a shotgun at you. No panic, just a calm reaction.

Well, I’ve had 3 dudes roll up on me and point a pistol at my face and demand me to empty my pockets. I did as they said as I thought my chances were probably better that way rather than trying to fight them. I was right, and am alive thankfully. So yeah, I kind of do know what it’s like.

You think it’s nonsense that they would have continued to escalate the situation?
You think these 2 grabbed a shotgun, a handgun jumped in their truck, followed this man down the street, jumped out and pointed their guns at him, and if he just nonchalantly keeps jogging that’s where the situation ends at?

Of course they would have. How hard is it to understand that different actions come with different risks? What’s more risky to you? Fighting multiple dudes with guns, running away, or surrendering? Which one will most likely end in death and which one is least likely?

Well it almost certainly ends a lot faster and with death if you try to fight 2 guys with guns. Jogging in the street is also not the only other choice.

Depends on the town... Pay attention to the details. The hood rats would help you steal the scrap metal. Hell they can breakdown a car faster than any redneck and work a fackload faster because they owe some bigdawg some money. Them rednecks move up to New York start stealing scrap metal there are plenty of pizza makers that would bury them at construction sites and their wife and their kids. Once again comparing each situation is stupid AF.
