Marcus Lattimore was a beast, wasn't he only a freshman or sophomore when he first got injured? He tried to come back but was clear he wasn't the same caliber RB

Penny Hardaway wasn’t the same after his injuries.

Does not belong on this list. Now if it turns out he'll never be the same he washes out, then sure.

Grant Hill, Penny Hardaway, Brandon Roy, and Greg Oden for the NBA.

JJ Watt hasn’t been the same since he had those season-ending injuries in 2015 and 2016 with the adductor tears, groin tear, abdominal tear, back injury, back surgery, back re-injury, second surgery, etc.
He hadn’t been the same since then. Still good, but not dominant like he was before.

Priest Holmes seemed to be on a hell of a trajectory before dealing with a couple of injuries + Larry Johnson waiting in the wings

Sophomore year
he came back fine , was having a great season, then tore the other knee up in a far worse/gruesome injury.
