I love the BS in that article.

It assumes Pelini will take the LSU Defense to the “NEXT LEVEL”

When you hold the defending National Champs to 1/11 in third down conversions while it’s being QB’d by the Preseason Heisman Award Candidate QB, your Defense is already AT THE NEXT LEVEL

All during 2019, LSU fans had to endure garbage about our defense NOT BEING AN ELITE DEFENSE

Bo Pelini will continue LSU’s latest legacy!

think he's a better fit for the Coach O culture
I'm happy with the hire but I actually liked that Aranda was a more cerebral scheme based coach because O doesn't bring his own scheme. What Aranda did to Clemson was genius.

Pelini was always a risk as a head coach because of his temperament. He will be great paired with a coach like O that will allow him to run his system. All he has to worry about is the defense, not the whole team and administrative duties.

One thing you know about Bo’s defense, they will lay the wood. Bo’s defense hits hard. Every player on that defense will know that they are expected to smoke the frick out of the ball carrier and receivers crossing the middle of the field will be in pucker mode the whole time. I’m talking LaRon Landry kind of punishment.

How much you want to bet he flames out at Baylor and ends up as DC at Ole Miss or some other SEC school. What if he ends up at Alabama?

Our defense was not elite in 2019.

I was hoping at he became the head coach at one time but this is even better.

I know Aranda personally, he’s very introverted. He can speak well, he can give a great presentation, but back and forth interactions is something he struggles with. Nothing wrong with it, just a personality type.

I think players adapt to a large degree the personality of their coaches. I think the fiery style of Coach Orgeron and Coach Pelini will define the type players we recruit and how they perform on the field and off the field. Can’t wait to see how Bo Pelini molds his defense around his personality.

I’m just saying some of the best hitting and most intimidating defensive play came from Bo’s defenses and I am looting forward to the new hard arse physical play.
Bo’s teams hit like the offense stole something from their momma’s.
