Meal planning during the shelter in place: Easier or harder?

The urge to look for something unhealthy is down since I'm steps away from making myself something to eat.
I've been grilling more these last few weeks.
This week:
20lbs of Chicken Leg Quarters seasoned with Slap Ya Mama and a little BBQ sauce at the end of the grilling process.
A mixture of beans: Black, Navy, Baked & Pinto tossed into a crockpot.
Roasted brussels sprouts with olive oil, seasoning and a little sriracha sauce.
After letting the chicken cool, I picked everything off the bone and placed it in a container. It was about 19 pieces.
2x per day until next meal prep: 7-8 oz chicken, 5-6 oz beans and 4 oz of brussels sprouts.

Was easier for me bc I was restricted to base for 3 weeks
So only home cooked meals
I'd be ripped right now if I wasn't drinking so much beer during this shite

Less than 10 drinks total since this shite started and I have a fridge full of beer.
Now, I do have to bottle about a case of beer that I brewed a few weeks ago.

Went back on keto a couple weeks back so I have only had a couple of beers but Corona Seltzers are zero carb thus have been my downfall.

Easier and I've lost like 10lbs

Way harder. With a wife and kids and a lot of time and boredom, we’re eating a lot of yummy and calorie-dense, fatty food.
I’ve gained about 6 pounds in the past three weeks and it’s starting to show.

Meal planning has been easier...sticking to said meal plan has been way harder for me, at least.

I'm over here eating healthier, but drinking significantly more...

I didn't know you brewed. I need to know more when we see each other again.
For about the first 2 weeks of lockdown I was exercising every day but my nutrition was waaay out of whack. I used the stress and unsure circumstances to eat out way too much and drink way too much. I put on 5 pounds in about 3 weeks. I straightened out the eating, and alcohol consumption has been reduced... still not pre-virus levels but instead of 3-4 beers or drinks a night and one day at 7-8, i'm having 1 a night or maybe 2 every few days. Scale is going back down and I feel better. Still exercising consistently, though I've fallen out of the online Geaux WODs. Walking 45m every morning, stretching after, and started C25K since running's a weak point of mine.
As for the topic of the OP.. I've always been a lazy meal prepper but it's even lazier now.. bare minimum and eating a lot of turkey wraps and somethign easy for dinner like sirloin steak, a carb side of some sort (yesterday I did a pre-packaged Indian lentils), and some roasted veggies.

Is the summer wheat just a wheat ale or is it flavored? One of my favorite summer beers is so basic but tasty - Sam Adams Summer Ale. Lemon wheat beer.

I have to wash a ahitload of bottles so I can bottle some tonight.

I'm getting ready to go through Insanity, and my caloric intake is supposed to be 2,700 calories daily. Going through the nutrition guide to set menus and this really seems like a lot of food...and this is to lose weight, not maintain. I'm a bit worried that I'm not going to be able to eat this much.
