Why has everyone forgotten the entire point of the lockdown?

The lockdowns were never intended to be "till there's a vaccine" because that's absolute madness. The point of the lockdown was to "flatten the curve" to ensure hospitals don't get overwhelmed. The same number of people are going to be infected eventually. The goal of the lockdown was to spread the infections out over a longer period of time so that the hospitals could keep up.
Everyone has forgotten that and nobody has the guts to say it. The curve has been flatten. It's time to reopen. Yes there will be more infections, there's going to be infections of this shite for years. Nobody wants to deal with that reality. We are literally hiding in our homes from reality.

Flatten the curve was never the real goal. Shutting down the economy was the goal.

The lock downs were ment to destroy the ever growing economy America was enjoying. This so the people would feel the hurt and become disgruntled in the (dems) hopes they would in turn blame it all on Trump and not vote for Trump in November.
