What running boards you guys have on your trucks. Pros/Cons.
Looking at the RC Chevy HD2 running boards.

They can get bent or get you highsided off road.

I have the NFab’s on my gmc 2500. Originally wanted the Havoc HS2 but they didn’t have them available for my truck at the time.

The only ones I will consider from here on out are the power running boards. There is no reason to have a hunk of plastic/metal hanging off the side of your truck anymore.

The only thing they’re good for is getting mud on your jean legs. They looked cool on vans, not sure how they made the jump to trucks.

I have a full size truck. I bought them mainly so my kids can get up in it and they use it every time in and out.

I have the GMC ones that come with my truck. I hate them. Mud piles up right under the front doors. I ordered the AMP steps but they were backordered so I cancelled. I have to have something but can’t wait to remove the factory ones.

Go Rhino D6
I like them because they're low profile and sit up fairly tight to the truck, instead of hanging low. Very solid also.

I like old school tubular steel "nerf bars", like smittybilt makes.
