I believe one of the TD rules is “don’t start a thread for every dumb fricking thought that pops into your head” or something to that effect

I know a few people that have had it. All survived.

I know four people that had it. Tested coming back from Europe right before the travel ban.

None of them had any symptoms at all and were bored out of their minds from being quarantined.

I knew two.

Both are dead.

But they were fat, old, and had underlying health problems. So they don't count.

So nobody.

1 - 83yr old grandmother got it at her nursing home. She was already on some meds for something else, they started her on hydroxychloroquine immediately. Never even had a fever. Back home in 7 days.

Personally, 11. Including relatives of friends, probably double that. all survived or recovering.

Edit - add a couple of more indirect. My boss called me last night to tell me his brother tested positive who caught it from his neighbor. His neighbor just died from it.

I know one. She felt bad for a few days and had recovered by the time she got her positive test result.

Only one personal friend.... he ended up having to spend 3-4 days in the hospital on oxygen but he’s good now and says he feels just about back to normal. He’s probably 45 with no health issues that I’m aware of.
